Dr. Kharod, a graduate of Temple University, is the Chief of Surgery at CentraState Medical Center. He is a general surgeon, board-certified in general and laparoscopic surgery.
Dr. Kharod specializes in gallbladder removals, laparoscopic hernia repairs and breast surgery. He utilizes robotic and minimally invasive techniques to ensure patients have speedy recovery because he understands not being able to put your life on hold. He is the proud father of two beautiful children who are involved in many activities . He was the recipient of the 2012 Patients Choice Award and amongst America’s Top Surgeons. He was also nominated for “NJ” Best Surgeon for 2012. Dr. Kharod is known for his great bedside manner and his great smile. His compassion and caring continuously reassures patients. Dr. Kharod was inspired by his father, who is also a physician, and fulfilled his aspiration by becoming a surgeon.
